My speech at the BoS meeting last night in response to the presentation from Simpson College wanting to bring Ron DeSantis from Florida to Redding to "teach civics". After doing further research after the meeting, I found out that DeSantis has been working very closely with Turning Point USA to roll out recruitment programs to schools all across the country. The Simpson College presenters last night made no mention of that whatsoever. | Redding Be Like
