On August 28, 1986 WWF’s “The Big Event” was held at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto, Ontario and drew a crowd of 61,470 fans (although the WWF claims an attendance of 74,000). The main event of the special house show was between WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff (with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan).
