What was printed using a 3x5 Kelsey tabletop printing press is an image from a photo engraving depicting the Tower Bridge in the late 1930s with the Delta King steamboat passing underneath the raised bridge. This print is available in our Museum Store as part of our “Sacramento Prints” bundle. In this press run, Jared printed 200 copies as souvenirs for an upcoming river boat cruise arriving in Sacramento at the end of the month. #orange #ink #towe

Making some I 💙 Sacramento History Museum letterpress prints using a mix of reflex blue and opaque white rubber base ink. This was printed using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The “I” is 36 point Cheltenham Bold font, the heart is a card indicator for the suit of hearts from a case of typographic accessories, and the cut is of our museum located in Old Sacramento. These were printed (roughly 40 in this press run) for goveaway prints for Museum Store Sunday (November 26). #sachi
