Last night’s painting session was a rollercoaster. Things got better and then worse .. and then maybe better again and then ‘oh my God what’s that?’ I used to think this was wrong. I used to think I should know how to skip some of these stages. But now I see the value in the struggle. The struggle gives the paintings their soul and their heart.
