Bembridge lifeboat station is a nice free day out in the East Wight. When it's open, you can go inside to see the lifeboat hanging on a great big slope and some info about the @rnli in Bembridge. The beach is dog friendly and is good for rockpooling at low tide. It's less good for swimming in my opinion. The station previously did public launches but these have been on hold for the last few weeks. The @rnlibembridge Facebook page has more details, or you can ask in the RNLI shop in the car park.
