We continue to watch strong to severe thunderstorms over far southwestern kansas, eastern Colorado, and northern Oklahoma as they head east and northeast this evening, a few thunderstorm have gone severe with some large hail and damaging wind gusts to 60-70 mph at times along with heavy rainfall leading to flooding in a few spots We do anticipate the severe thunderstorm watch and tornado watch to expire within the next say 15-20 minutes, but that does not mean the severe thunderstorm threat is o

Little radar update just after 8pm central time this evening Showers and storms continue over northwest kansas tonight but at this time they are under severe weather limits which is a good thing, some of these storms are kinda stationary along a boundary that is across we think I-70 from about Colby to Hays. That cluster of storms that came out of Colorado is also pushing eastward as well at about 10-13 mph, nothing severe with those but some of these storms draped across NW Kansas are producing
