A sheriff’s deputy was fatally shot in the line of duty in Weakley County after authorities responded to a disturbance call and reports of shots fired. Officials say the suspect opened fire from her vehicle, striking Deputy Derrick Bonham, then fired again after exiting the car. Bonham was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
