The show was the seventh overall event in World Class Championship Wrestling’s “Wrestling Star Wars" event chronology. In the main event, WCCW American Tag Team Champions The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael "P.S." Hayes & Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy) put their titles on the line against Kerry Von Erich and Bruiser Brody.
