Notre Dame football head coach Marcus Freeman sang "Notre Dame, Our Mother" after the team's Sugar Bowl victory over Georgia, the SEC Champion, which advanced them to the College Football Playoff semi-finals. Freeman, who converted to Catholicism in September 2022, reinstated the team’s pregame Mass tradition, a century-old practice previously ended by the former coach, now ironically with an SEC team. Coach Freeman is reaffirming the team's commitment to Notre Dame’s Catholic traditions. #shalo
