On Sept. 24, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) units responded to a #FirstAlarm house fire near the 9100 block of SW 32 Street. Firefighters quickly located a fire in the kitchen and conducted a fast attack. The fire was extinguished, and crews remained on scene to monitor for hot spots. Two patients were assessed, with one being transported to a local area hospital. The cause of the fire is under investigation. On Oct. 1, 2025 at 5:50 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (#MDFR) #Engine7 responded to reports of a cat stuck inside the engine of a vehicle near NW 17 Avenue and NW 80 Street. Firefighters located and rescued the kitten, which had been stuck inside the vehicle’s engine compartment for hours.
