We honored the crews of 7 submarines built at Mare Island and lost at sea in World War II, yesterday. 569 men are on “Eternal Patrol” in the Pacific Ocean. Only God knows where. We have gathered to remember them for 19 years. At this time each year, I am very sad. For them. Their families.
