From wasdale head it’s about 1.8 miles each way, from the campsite around 2.5 each way The route goes past englands smallest parish church and along mostly a gravel path through the valley! It’s a steady incline and quite rocky towards the end so prepare for that with sturdy footwear maybe even walking
