kate on Instagram: "i’ve done this hike twice now and it’s become one of my favorites - only 45 minutes from auckland! dramatic cliffs, ocean views, and it’s not too challenging so you can actually enjoy the scenery without dying halfway through. i’d also give yourself some extra time to head to piha (a beautiful black sand beach nearby) after the hike and grab some real fruit ice cream 🍦 one of the easiest hikes from auckland and so worth it if you want to escape the city for a few hours 📍 me
