“The Girl Who Burned (An Elegy For Ice)” just write the word “Burned” to get this Artwork for your home. There will only ever exist 500 of these Mirrors & less than 5 untethered remain! good luck! okey lets begin: —How many years have you been playing dead while still alive? Smiling when you wanted to scream. Shrinking when every bone ached to take space. Telling everyone “it’s fine” while your chest burned with a truth you never spoke. Do you even remember who first told you you were “too much”

After the fall of the American Empire, nobody cares what anyone has to say about some old book, let alone a prophecy made up by people from the dark ages. That’s obvious. They also have quite the issue with the border and just how our king intends to drive out the invaders. The fact that he’s never had a female military officer? Even worse. So of course, his next great idea was to simply force a future priestess of Avalon, who never wanted anything to do with knights, ladies, the regiment, and l

LET ME TEACH YOU. Don’t let these stories die. - After all, the legends have adjusted for the times, and in 2026, what people will actually watch and be influenced by are #gymgirls on social media. So I guess it’s my turn to tell them. - Ave Dux Artorius - Oh yeah, and I wrote a book with the FMC as a gymgirl training for knighthood under Arthur set 500 years in the future after the fall of the American Empire. Wish me luck in the query trenches :) - Dragon set by @constantly_varied_gear - #gymg

In case you didn’t know, the Winged Hussars were Polish Cavalry knights who literally wore giant wings on the backs of their armor. Imagine you’re fighting against these guys and literal angels are striking down your comrades on horseback. The wings didn’t serve much purpose other than appearance, but it certainly made an impression! - ART: Husaria’s Attack – Winged Hussars, painting by Orłowski. - Ok this one wasn’t Arthurian themed I was just vibing to this song @sabatonofficial - - #gymgirl #

And we act like we’ve changed (srsly please like this postl need the attention). Yvain core when Gawain tempts him to Camelot and he ditches his wife for a year... (well sorta) full story here-> - In Arthurian Legend, sir Yvain marries this girl (Laudine) after killing her husband and they live happily ever after (sorta not really). After a bit, Yvain’s buddy Gawain visits him, reminding him of his duties as a knight and how fun and cool Camelot’s tournaments are. He urges Yvain to leave the fou

-Direct quote from Annales Cambriae -Ave Dux Artorius -and then he claimed the banner perhaps - Note: year 72 refers to a debated period of time starting around 445, so the actual time period of the battle was around AD 516. - - -(I realize my armor and the song are not historically accurate for the time period but it’s just cool. The Arthurian Legend as a whole also isn’t “historically accurate”) - -song translated: We cheat Death from his rightful victory. No one can defeat us. We are glad to

Some of my faves include Gildas’ De Excidio et Conquestu Britanniae (c. 540) because it essentially sets post-Roman Britain on fire, and sort of gives rise to Arthuriana with the mention of Ambrosious Aurelianous (absolutely epic-sauce Roman warlord). Nennius’ Historia Brittonum (c. 830) gives Arthur (my hero obvi) his first battles and a pretty cool explanation of Badon, and the Mabinogion (Culhwch ac Olwen, 11th–12th c.) shows him wild and lowk feral chasing around a boar. I also recently read

Boudica was the queen of the British Iceni tribe in the first century and attempted to drive the Roman invaders out of Britannia, but ultimately failed. Prior to taking command, she and her daughters were sexually abused by their Roman conquerors, fueling her vengeance. While in the end she was unsuccessful at defending her land, she is still ultimately remembered as a National hero for her bravery and some victories. - This was just a fun general Roman/Celtic cosplay and I thought Boudica fit,
