Buying winter tires at Wal-Mart. Good or bad idea?
Nov 7, 2016 · These WalMart tires are just old school winter tread from the early-mid 90's with with chunky blocks and wide grooves, more than enough grip for your typical sedan driven in a congested city. Labeling them as 'cheap' because they are inexpensive is unfair.

Sep 17, 2015 · Walmart usually have their store brand tires made in China by the Shandong Hengyu Technology Group We can go into the debate of buying name brands vs chinese made unknown ones for days lol . I guess if you don't do much driving and live in an area where there's not much snow they'd be just fine .

Oct 27, 2015 · Hey guys just wanted to know if anyone has ever used these weathermaxx winter tires they sell at Walmart. They are made by Nexen and are the exact same tire as the Nexen Wingaurd 231. I just want to know if anyone has used this winter tire and what is your experience how they perform. Not looking for alternative suggestions on other brand tires.

Nov 11, 2008 · I had OK tires or another company with tires iin their name install and balance my tires for $20 each. he added on 6.5 for shop supplies/recycle . with tax it was around $100. I didnt like the 6.5 added on above quote. i supplied the tires. should i have paid the recycle fee? i know it is normally $16 for four tires.
