Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed two decrees enacting decisions made by the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) with regard to sanctions against individuals and legal entities involved in Russian aggression.

Zelenskyy's sartorial choice seemed carefully designed to insulate him from another unceremonious exit from the Oval Office.

The Ukrainian president said China has helped Russia, despite also calling for a peaceful resolution to the war.
