The Minnesota Vikings seem to have done everything possible to prepare J.J. McCarthy as their starting quarterback next season, including eliminating the threat of competition.

It is always fun to see where teams land in power rankings. In the offseason, we don't get many updates on those, as the rosters only drastically change twice: once during free agency and again during the NFL Draft. Free agency has come and gone, and the NFL Draft ended a week ago.

The Minnesota Vikings had an NFL Draft that was a mixed bag, depending on who you ask. Some folks loved the approach and thought that it was needed as the team solidified the offensive line and added depth.

This exercise was much more difficult than in past years. Why? Mostly because of the Vikings' improved depth across the roster.
