Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles received a 10-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for his conduct during the third inning of a Sunday game in Las Vegas during a rehab assignment, Major League Baseball announced Tuesday.

If Robles does have to serve his suspension, it means the Mariners will have to play a man down on their roster. However, the club could elect to have Robles return in September when rosters expand from 26 to 28 players, which includes one extra position player.

Victor Robles took out his frustration from being hit by a pitch by launching his bat at pitcher Joey Estes, resulting in his ejection from a minor league game.
