Gov. Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency in response to potential coastal and flash flooding triggered by Hurricane Erin. The State of Emergency went into effect at 2 p.m. Thursday. High surf and rip currents are also expected.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced new South Jersey transportation initiatives, including Camden electric buses, an Atlantic City shuttle and more.
During a stop in Atlantic City, Murphy said the federal government is investing $5 million into micro-transit options for underserved communities.
Gov. Phil Murphy signed A5447 and S4282 into law Friday, making New Jersey the fourth state this calendar year to enact legislation banning online sweepstakes casinos. The Garden State joined Nevada, Montana, and Connecticut as those that have banned online sweepstakes gaming via legislature.
