London Marathon will feature two of the three fastest women and two of the five fastest men in history - but will world records be broken on Sunday?

The London Marathon route follows its usual course, starting in Greenwich and Blackheath where entrants are split into three lines which converge at the three-mile mark. The route heads east into Woolwich, then back west towards Greenwich town centre, through Rotherhithe and Bermondsey.

THE London Marathon will take place this Sunday as thousands of people are set to take on the 26.2 mile course. The race’s popularity has hit new heights with 840,318 people applying via the
