New York Jets general manager Darren Mougey was incredibly busy on Wednesday. Mougey acquired defensive tackle Jowon Briggs from the Cleveland Browns in a trade. The Jets then also traded for Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Harrison Phillips.

The Jets added a number of linemen this offseason prior to Wednesday's acquisitions, nearly entirely revamping the unit. The haul included Byron Cowart, Jay Tufele, Derrick Nnadi and Phidarian Mathis. They also picked up undrafted free agents Payton Page and Fatorma Mulbah.

Deep at the defensive tackle position, the Browns have swapped Briggs and a 2026 seventh round pick to the Big Apple in exchange for a 2026 sixth round pick. This comes after the Browns signed Maliek Collins in free agency and drafted Mason Graham with the fifth overall pick in the draft.
