The New York Jets acquired defensive tackle Jowon Briggs from the Cleveland Browns in a trade Wednesday that also included draft picks. The Browns also sent a seventh-round pick in next year's NFL draft to New York for a sixth-rounder next year.

The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of preparing for their dress rehearsal with the Los Angeles Rams in the final preseason game of the season. The Browns roster still has needs, as the 53-man locks projection shows, but that doesn’t mean the team doesn’t have depth.
