Milwaukee County Judge Dugan trial: Live updates Wednesday, Dec. 17
MILWAUKEE - Testimony will continue Wednesday in the trial of Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan, who federal prosecutors accuse of helping undocumented immigrant Eduardo Flores-Ruiz evade capture at the courthouse earlier this year. U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman called for court to begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Check back for updates.
Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan is charged with obstruction and concealment and faces up to six years in prison if convicted on both counts.
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by the FBI in April and charged in a two-count federal indictment, alleging she obstructed Department of Homeland officials and knowingly concealed a man from immigration authorities. She has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors grilled federal agents on Judge Hannah Dugan's tone when speaking to them, and called another judge to testify against her.
