The stakes are high for the Dallas Cowboys entering this season, and Marcus Spears believes they must deliver. The ESPN analyst and former Cowboys defensive end explained that he sees this year as a “boom or bust” of sorts for the franchise.
In a recent survey released by ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, he ranked his top 10 NFL QBs on seven different skillsets from arm strength and mechanics to ball placement and pocket presence. Despite being a recent MVP candidate, Prescott only landed on one of Orlovsky’s top 10 lists — mechanics.
"The Dallas Cowboys are for entertainment purposes only," he said. "Before the Cowboys come on the TV, before we see their games, you know when they show the NFL branding, they need to have a warning label come on the TV screen."
