Disneyland announced yesterday that it will be ending its Early Entry perk for guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels and replacing it with a new Lightning Lane Multi Pass perk. Now, readers are wondering whether a similar change will come to Early Theme Park Entry at Walt Disney World Resort.

Starting on Jan. 5, 2026, Disneyland is no longer allowing guests who stay at its theme park resorts to gain early access to its parks, according to the theme park. Currently, guests staying at official Disneyland resorts can access either Disneyland or Disney’s California Adventure on select days of the week.
