The body of a missing 33-year-old mother of three has been found in the Los Angeles National Forest, days after her husband was allegedly caught on surveillance footage dragging a large bag from an apartment complex in Southern California.

A new wildfire was reported today at 9:55 a.m. in Los Angeles County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. At this time, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

With a potentially dangerous heat wave settling over the Southland Wednesday through Saturday, the Governor's Office of Emergency Management pre-deployed an array of firefighting resources to Los Angeles County to contend with heightened wildfire danger.
