San Francisco 49ers wide receiver DeMarcus Robinson has received a multi-game suspension ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

A familiar face leads the group of receivers who could interest the 49ers after the roster cutdown deadline next week.

49ers wide receiver Jacob Cowing did not practice Wednesday. Coach Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR that Cowing is dealing with the same lingering hamstring injury that sidelined him early in camp. “Yes, it is [the hamstring],” Shanahan said on the radio, via David Bonilla of 49erswebzone.com. “ He felt it yesterday, so we had to hold him back today.”

The San Francisco 49ers announced a few moves on Wednesday morning. The team signed offensive lineman Michael Dunn and wide receiver Malik Knowles. The corresponding moves were to release defensive tackle Demone Harris and waive rookie running back Corey Kiner.

Sudfeld spent the 2021 campaign in the 49ers organization. After starting the season on the practice squad, he was elevated to the active roster after Trey Lance went down with a knee injury. Sudfeld stuck around for the rest of the season,

The Minnesota Vikings are in a bit of a pickle at the wide receiver position right now. Jordan Addison will be sidelined for the first three games of the regular season due to a suspension, and Justin Jefferson's status is up in the air as a result of a hamstring injury.
