India and China should view each other as "partners" rather than "adversaries or threats", Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday, as he arrived for a two-day visit to Delhi.

India has reacted to the Chinese medias claim saying that there is no change in New Delhis position on Taiwan. Chinese state media has claimed New Delhis affirmation on Taiwan being a part of China.

Yi, 71, is currently on a two-day visit to India and has met with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. The visit comes days ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled trip to China where he will attend the SCO summit.
