Deputies and volunteers looking for the 2-year-old Siletz toddler who vanished from his family’s home Saturday have found not so much as a trace of him on land, officials said. Tuesday marked the fourth day since the child went missing while playing in his family’s front yard on a grassy property abutting the Siletz River while out of sight of his parents.

Boats and divers from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and four other departments combed the Siletz River on Monday looking for a 2½-year-old boy missing since Saturday.

Hundreds of search and rescue crews consisting of Oregon law enforcement, federal officials and volunteers continue looking for a 2-year-old boy who disappeared days ago.
