The singer-songwriter, who trained to be a K-pop idol before transitioning to songwriting, is finally getting her much-deserved moment in the spotlight thanks to the success of the Netflix animated film and its soundtrack.

EXCLUSIVE: Mark Sonnenblick, breakout songwriter behind the hit “Golden” from Sony and Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters, has signed with Kraft-Engel Management for representation and PAL Public Relations for publicity.

After losing the top spot for a week, KPop Demon Hunters is back at No. 1 with hit single "Golden" (Aug. 15). The song from the Netflix musical first hit the top spot a fortnight ago, becoming the first K-pop No. 1 single in the U.K. for over 13 years. PSY's "Gangnam Style" was the last song to achieve the feat prior to that in 2012.
