A Coldplay superfan who took a 17-hour flight from China to see the band perform in Hull said his "dream had come true" when he was invited onto stage by lead singer Chris Martin.

Hull-born rapper Chiedu Oraka, one of Coldplay's support acts, is on stage sound checking ahead of the concert later. He performed at last year's Glastonbury festival and has recorded many sessions for national and local BBC stations.
Wembley is the second biggest stadium in Europe, with a capacity of around 90,000 people for shows of this size. Of course, Coldplay have sold that out 10 times over, meaning that more than 900,000 people will see the band over the course of their Wembley dates. That’s a decent percentage of London’s total population. Not too shabby, eh?
