Ajit Doval said during his initial remarks in talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting for the SCO Summit soon.

Wang Yi’s visit is the first by a Chinese minister since PM Narendra Modi met Xi Jinping in Kazan last year and set the stage for the disengagement of troops along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday and held a fresh round of Special Representatives (SR) dialogue on the boundary question. Wang Yi arrived in India late Monday afternoon on a two-day visit.
