The 2025 Gold Cup Final is set. Mexico will face the United States at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. The United States secured its spot early Wednesday with a win over Guatemala in St. Louis. The USMNT took an early 2-0 lead in Wednesday’s semifinal. Despite Guatemala's efforts, the USMNT ultimately won, 2-1.

Christian Pulisic isn't with the U.S. after deciding to sit out of the Gold Cup following two grueling seasons in Europe with AC Milan. The 26-year-old attacker told CBS Sports that he offered to play the two friendlies versus Turkiye and Switzerland before the tournament started, but coach Mauricio Pochettino turned him down.

In their stead, Luna and Malik Tillman have emerged as the leaders of the USMNT en route to the final. They have both recorded three goals and two assists in the tournament. Defender Cesar Montes is Mexico's leading scorer at the Gold Cup with three goals.
