An unprecedented start to the season helped the Arizona Wildcats land a No. 1 seed in the tournament, which has them slated to begin the quest for their first men's basketball championship this century against Long Island University.

The eighth-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes (21-12) square off with the No. 9 seed TCU Horned Frogs (22-11) in an East Regional first-round game in Greensboro, North Carolina, on Thursday afternoon.

Illinois moved on to the Round of 32, and the No. 3 seed will now face No. 11 VCU.
