The 49ers’ coaching staff changes for the 2025 season are here. While the big ones — in defensive coordinator Robert Saleh and special teams coordinator Brant Boyer had already been announced — there were a number of other changes announced Tuesday.

Robert Saleh was announced as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator on Jan. 24, but through the process there were a few times when general manager John Lynch thought he may have to call on the organization’s backup plan.
