The Eagles linebacker has thrived in Vic Fangio’s system, making a strong case for a long-term deal in midnight green.

Free agency will kick off across the league in March and Eagles linebacker Zack Baun likely will be one of the most sought-after players on the open market. Philadelphia was lucky to have Baun in 2024 and it would be great to have him back in 2025 after he was named to the first-team All-Pro.

The Eagles' decision to sign running back Saquon Barkley last year has been hailed as one of the best free agent signings of all time, but it wasn't the only signing that paid major dividends for the team.

His contributions to the Eagles' Super Bowl season were surprising. He helped make what was considered one of the team’s weakest positions in 2023 one of its greatest strengths in 2024. Every one of his teammates wants him back in 2025 because he was such a terrific leader.
