Corpus-assisted discourse studies (CADS) is a growing field of study that provides for holistic understandings of written texts, spoken discourse, rhetorical strategies, and the people who use them.

In this project students assess the uses and limits of the position they take regarding some aspect or issue related to writing, discourse, and identity.
