Reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), or complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), is a nerve disorder that affects pain regulation.
That disease is RSD/CRPS (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), a disproportionately severe chronic pain that develops after an injury or surgery.
Complex regional pain syndromes (CRPS) (formerly reflex sympathetic dystrophy and causalgia) are neuropathic pain conditions that are initiated by an extremity trauma or peripheral nerve lesion.
