Am contemplating an HP DL380 G7 with the standard P410/512MB FBWC RAID controller. Most of the drives will be the OEM HP 500GB SATA drives in RAID1 arrays holding VHDs for a Hyper-V host.

This long-term and real-world test will allow us to see the impact for ourselves which should leave no more doubt in people’s minds about the effectiveness and costs of running an SSD RAID setup.
