A 28-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in the killings of a married couple in front of their children at Devil’s Den State Park over the weekend, Arkansas officials said. Arkansas State Police arrested Andrew James McGann from Springdale and charged him with two counts of capital murder.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas State Police made an arrest in the recent Devil’s Den double homicide case. James Andrew McGann, 28, is charged with two counts of capital murder. ASP says McGann was taken into custody at 4:57 p.m. on July 30 at a business in Springdale.

The victims had recently moved to Prairie Grove, about 12 miles from the park. A manhunt was underway for a man described as wearing dark clothing and fingerless gloves.
