Shohei Ohtani had a little fun with a heckler during Sunday’s 8-2 win over the Padres. A fan sitting near the Dodgers’ dugout had been giving the star a hard time during the course of the game at Petco Park. So when Ohtani hit a ninth-inning solo home run to extend Los Angeles’ lead to six, he made sure to let the fan have it right back.

A heckler next to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ dugout spent his entire Sunday giving an earful to the visitors, including a nonstop barrage of digs and chirps at Shohei Ohtani for his hitless performance in a portentous weekend series against the San Diego Padres.

Nestor Cortes took a perfect game into the sixth inning and combined with three relievers on a two-hitter as the San Diego Padres reclaimed the NL West lead with a 5-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday night.
