There are several different ways to get on the London Marathon start line next year: The race will take place on Sunday, 26 April 2026. A record-breaking total of more than 56,000 people are expected to take part in the 2025 race, and Hugh Brasher - chief executive of London Marathon Events - hopes it will keep expanding.

The London Marathon returns in 2025 with an even more star-studded field than usual for one of the biggest events of the year and a record number of runners entering the mass participation event run at the same time.

For those of us who live in the United States, you can watch the race live on FloTrack. The broadcast will begin on Sunday, April 27 at 3:30 a.m. ET. The elite wheelchair race starts at 3:50 a.m. ET, the elite women begin at 4:05 a.m. ET, and the elite men take off at 4:35 a.m. ET. The race will also be available to watch on-demand.
