Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Closing arguments began Thursday in the trial for Judge Hannah Dugan after the court heard testimony from fellow Milwaukee County judicial officials about a lack of court policy on immigration arrests in public areas.

To convict Dugan, the jury's vote must be unanimous. Given the massive publicity, both sides agreed to send out a high number of questionnaires for prospective jurors to answer. Initially, 120 went out, and then another 50. For comparison, usually about 50 go out in a case.
A jury will decide whether Dugan is guilty of obstructing federal officers from arresting an illegal immigrant.
