JR Motorsports has broken its silence on Connor Zilisch's racing return for the Xfinity Series race at the Daytona International Speedway.
NASCAR Chevy driver Connor Zilisch will return to racing at Daytona after suffering a broken collarbone in an accident in Victory Lane in early August 2025.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns after a week off for the Wawa 250 on Aug. 22 at Daytona International Speedway. Three races remain in the Xfinity Series regular season, with Harrison Burton leading Jeb Burton by 30 points for the final playoff spot.

JR Motorsports told NASCAR.com‘s Zach Sturniolo Monday that Connor Zilisch is currently slated to compete in Friday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Wawa 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Trackhouse Racing owner Justin Marks later told SiriusXM NASCAR Radio that Zilisch could be a “game-time decision” for Daytona.
