MARIETTA, Ga. — Michael Helin has been appointed to senior automation engineer of Yamaha Motor Corp. USA Intelligent Machinery (IM) Division’s Robot Operations FA (Factory Automation) department.
Yamaha Motor is accelerating its pivot into the semiconductor equipment space with the launch of Yamaha Robotics, a newly established division focused on robotic systems for electronics manufacturing.
The YK1200XG is a SCARA robot designed for the assembly and transport of large and heavy objects. It features a 1200mm reach and achieves industry-leading cycle times with a maximum payload of 50kg.
