ROTTERDAM — A boil water order is in effect for portions of the Curry Road area following a Wednesday water main break that disrupted traffic along a major corridor in town of Rotterdam.

The Rotterdam Water Department is on scene and assessing repairs, according to police. Curry Road will be closed to vehicle traffic between Altamont Avenue and Deforest Street in both directions.
