During the Jan. 5, 2026, edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE visited the Upside Down. After weeks of teasing it, the much-talked-about Stranger Things crossover episode finally streamed on Netflix. However, as the promotion also celebrated its first-anniversary with Netflix, it was treated with an eerie Stranger Things collaboration.
In other action this week, Stephanie Vaquer retained her WWE Women's World Championship in a Triple Threat Match against both Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella. Rodriguez was a force in the match and hit a devastating side slam on Bella. Before she could make the pin, Vaquer rolled her out of the ring and made the cover for herself.
It was subsequently revealed that Rhodes and McIntyre would wrestle for the undisputed WWE title on the Jan. 9 episode of SmackDown. Their match would be the seventh Three Stages of Hell match in WWE history, and the first on the main roster since 2013. McIntyre attacked Rhodes, standing over him to close the show.
Naomi retained her title in the opening Triple Threat bout. After Rhea Ripley landed a devastating Avalanche Riptide on IYO SKY, Naomi seized the moment and rolled up Ripley to score the pin and keep her reign intact. Six teams clashed in a chaotic TLC match.
