The beloved late-night host brought the curtain down on his CBS late-night series after 11 years, with appearances by several stars, including Bryan Cranston, Paul Rudd, Ryan Reynolds and Paul McCartney.
The curtain is coming down on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” The final episode of the long-running late-night TV series is set to air. Colbert announced during an episode in July 2025 that CBS canceled the show after 33 years on the air.
Visitors will soon be able to check out the set from CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in Chicago, at the Museum of Broadcast Communications.
The last episode of the late-nite TV show airs on Thursday, May 21.
Jon Stewart ripped into CBS and praised Stephen Colbert while reuniting with his longtime friend on one of the last episodes of "The Late Show."
The delivery was made last week, all the way from the Ed Sullivan Theater to the Museum of Broadcast Communications in the West Loop.
