President Donald Trump will attend Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, marking the first time a sitting US president has attended the event in person. Trump will also participate in a pre-game interview on Fox News.

Bush did attend a Super Bowl as a former president, taking part in the coin toss alongside Cowboys legend Roger Staubach prior to the Patriots’ upset win over the heavily favored St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.508 That game, like Sunday’s, was held in New Orleans.

A White House official, speaking anonymously, confirmed Trump's plans to the Associated Press. Trump will be the first sitting U.S. president to attend the game. Previously, three sitting vice presidents have attended the Super Bowl.
