Former North Carolina governor to teach class at Harvard, may run for office again
Former North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper will take a teaching position at the country’s oldest and perhaps most famed university, according to the school. Cooper, who served as governor from 2017-2025, will join Harvard University as a Menschel senior leadership fellow at the T.

The fellowship, which spans eight weeks, allows prominent leaders to share their experience and insights with students. The university has not yet specified when Cooper will begin teaching.
